Step 1:
Draw an oval for the body and another for the head. Then, draw two lines that connect the two ovals and form the neck. Under the big oval draw two angled lines as guides for the feet and draw a small line on the right side of the big oval for the tail.

Draw the mouth at the end of the head. Next to the mouth, draw th eyes as a circle. Also, draw a curvy shape next to the eye to represent the red portion of their head, where the name Red-Eared Slider comes from.

Draw the bottom portion of the top shell usig jagged lines to indicate the rough textur of the shell. Draw the lines within the shells.

Draw the feet using the initial lines as guides. Use the small lines in the left as a guide to draw a tail. Shade some of the areas to make it look more realistic.
