* Reproductive Stages- The Red-Eared Slider Turtle produces sexually.
- The females sexually matures at 3 to 5 years of age.
- The males sexually matures at 2 to 4 years of age.
- Before mating their is a type of courtship between the opposite sex.
- They reproduce by laying eggs and the female of the species is the

* Once they find a suitable place to lay their eggs, they set their nest high above sea level. The soil where the eggs are laid must be moist since this is important for the survival of the eggs. In addition, they require a certain temperature in order for the eggs to actually hatch and to produce healthy turtles.
* The time required for hatching is approximately 68 to 70 days. When they are born, the newborn hatchlings are approximately 20 to 35 mm long. Furthermore, hatchlings mortality rate are quite high since they have many predators such as the crows, rats, and snakes.
